Transporting a yacht to Dubai or to any others destinations offers many advantages:
- It saves hours on the engines, which directly affect the value of a yacht, especially when brand new.
- It allows yachts to reach certain destination they wouldn’t have been able to otherwise (limited in range).
- It is sometimes inevitable to transport a yacht when tight deadlines are involved such as charter, yacht shows or related events. Shipping a yacht is often a lot faster.
- It offers a “free” dry dock; so the crew can check the condition of the hull and carry out some small jobs that would normally require the yacht to be put on the dry.
- It allows the crew to take some holiday while the yacht cannot be used.

How much does it cost to ship a yacht?
It depends on the yacht's length, beam, height and weight, the route and the shipping method. Send us those details and we'll come back with a quote for your exact move.
How long does yacht transport take?
It depends on the route and the carrier's schedule. Tell us when you need the yacht at the other end and we'll plan the loading date from there.
Is my yacht insured during transport?
Standard yacht policies often don't cover transport as cargo. We can arrange transport insurance for the whole trip, from the first lift to discharge.
Can you move a boat by road?
Yes. We truck boats within the UAE and across the Gulf to Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, and we handle the road permits and border paperwork.
What documents do I need?
Usually the registration papers, proof of ownership and the yacht's dimensions and weight. We prepare the export and import paperwork and tell you if anything else is needed.
Who looks after the yacht during loading?
Our loadmaster supervises the lift and the lashing, and an independent surveyor records the yacht's condition before loading and after discharge.
